News: Trading Overview on the Zagreb Stock Exchange in August 2026 01.09.2026. 11:30 In August, compared to July, a significant decline in trading activity was recorded, partly attributable to the usual reduction in market activity during the summer months. Order-book turnover decreased by -54.7%, while total turnover fell by -46.6%. Equity market capitalization increased by +0.3%, bond capitalization remained virtually unchanged (-0.04%), and ETFs recorded a slight rise of +0.36%. Equity indices showed mixed performance, with the largest gains posted by CROBEXturista (+2.74%) and CROBEXnutrisa (+1.12%), while CROBEX and CROBEX10 recorded a slight decline of approximately -0.5%. The most actively traded shares in August were Končar, Valamar Riviera, HT, Adris Group and Končar – Distributive and Special Transformers, with Končar generating turnover of EUR 15.7 million, while the remaining four most-liquid issues cumulatively traded EUR 5.5 million. In August, the Slovenian investment firm ILIRIKA became a new member of the Zagreb Stock Exchange via remote access, marking the first time a foreign investment firm has obtained such status on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
